Video TranscriptIn order to stay on top of the ever-changing world of digital marketing as well as follow the best practices in Automotive, you need to know where to go for the best tips and strategy. Submerging yourself in a pool of information is the best way to stay cutting edge and up to date. Conferences offer the ability to do just that as many of them are full day or multi-day events that fill you cup with useful actionable items straight from the leaders in the industry themselves. However do you know which conferences are worth your time and money?
Hi and welcome to another Tuesday Tip Video Clip. Before you get your checkbook out and start registering for every digital marketing or automotive conference, here are my five favorite conferences, in no particular order mind you, to either attend or follow on social media.
First is the Digital Dealer Conference and Expo April 11th-13th 2017 in Tampa, Florida. This conference is the standard in Automotive Sales and Marketing and continues to get bigger and better every year. Dealers and marketers flock to Digital Dealer every year to hear the top minds in the industry discuss trends and forecasts in automotive and it’s an absolute must to follow.
Sticking with automotive conferences, NADA is an absolute must. The association brings some of the world’s biggest names to keynote and packs the conference with 100s of speakers and exhibitors. If you’re an independent dealer, you won’t want to miss NIADA this year either as it’s similarly geared towards independents.
For the strictly marketing focused conferences, Pubcon in Las Vegas in October draws some of the largest crowds from across the country and is easily one of the best places to break digital marketing news. Speakers from Google, Bing, and others frequently take stage to provide insights and wax on prospective trends and advancements.
Mozcon is also another can’t miss digital marketing conference with a slightly different appeal. Produced by Moz.com, arguably one of the most trusted SEO tools and tips sites around, the conference focuses on technology, strategy and innovation, bring some of the best technical and strategic minds in marketing together in one place.
Last, you won’t ever want to miss an SMX whether it be one of their regionals like SMX East or SMX West, or their exclusive SMX Advanced conferences. Many of the industry’s biggest names attend as speakers but stay to learn from their peers. Be assured that if there’s a Search Engine Land is involved, it’s going to be information-packed and very, very relevant.
Now if you’re like me, you’d love to go to all of these… but it’s nearly impossible to do so. THe next best thing is to follow them and the regular cast of experts on Twitter during these conferences. If I’m not speaking or attending, I’m definitely tied to my feed, soaking in the greatness. What’s your favorite conference or expo? Leave your comments and questions in the comment section below.
