Management Biographies
President/CEO - Chad Polk
Chad Polk, President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), co-founded AutoRevo in December 2003. His technology career began at Buchanan Associates – a 400 employee technology consulting firm in Dallas, Texas – where he interned during college winter break. After concluding his baseball career, he was hired full-time at Buchanan Associates where he advanced steadily through the ranks, with positions such as: web development, product management, consulting at Fortune 500 companies, project management, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server product specialist, and technical sales director. His assiduous work with Microsoft technologies was a key contributor to Buchanan achieving Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
While at Buchanan Associates, Chad developed eGiantAuctions in May, 2001. eGiantAuctions was a full-service eBay Motors listing provider for franchise auto dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. As a technologist, he wanted to automate the processes for dealers to list vehicles on eBay Motors to make it easier for the dealers to list vehicles themselves. In December 2003, Polk resigned from his full-time role to transition the AutoRevo vision into a full-time focus.
Chad graduated from Baylor University Hankamer School of Business with a BBA in Management Information Systems and now lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three boys. His family has belonged to the Fellowship Church (fellowshipchurch.com) since early 2000. Chad is on the board of directors for Dallas Athletes, a 300+ member multisport (triathlon) training group. He is also very active in coaching the youth sports of his children.

CTO - Mark Hoffman
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mark Hoffman brings to AutoRevo almost 20 years of experience developing and leading high growth companies. A co-founder of AutoRevo, he worked most recently at Buchanan Associates, where he held Senior Managing Consultant positions at Frito-Lay, Mary Kay, and TXU. Mark was responsible for developing Buchanan’s relationship with Frito Lay, which included an annual revenue in excess of $1 million.
Mark was a part of the “.NET Early Adopter Program” with Microsoft, where he was able to take part in the evolution of the .NET architecture within the Dallas area. Being deemed as a “.NET Evangelist”, he conducted speaking engagements to Fortune 500 companies on topics such as migration to the Microsoft .NET platform, integration of .NET into MSSQL, and .NET best practices. Demonstrating his intense commitment to Buchanan Associates, Mark led multiple six-week training sessions targeted at consultants on topics ranging from SQL Server to .NET Framework and development. Prior to his work with Buchanan Associates, Mark held team leadership positions at RIA, Satama Interactive, and ACT Print Systems.
Mark attended the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Accounting and Finance. He lives in Rockwall, Texas with his wife and two boys.

National Sales Director - Bill Berry
Bill Berry brings over nine years of automotive experience to AutoRevo’s management team. He began his automotive career in the lot services sector, and later advanced to an eBay Dealer Assistant. Listing vehicles on eBay and teaching dealers eBay best practices became his passion. During this time, Bill also founded a small business, Main Street Listings, which specialized in listing homes for sale on eBay. After a year and a half as an area manager for SCM/Penn Warranty, Bill joined AutoRevo in the spring of 2006.
Bill is responsible for the management of the company’s sales department and strategies, managing customer and dealer group acquisitions and ensuring customer success; he was promoted to National Sales Director in July of 2008.
Bill lives in Allen, Texas with his wife and daughter.

Senior Product Manager - Alan Bertucci
Alan Bertucci joined AutoRevo in May 2008 as Senior Product Manager, and is responsible for driving the company’s product development strategy and for ensuring customer success with the AutoRevo platform. Alan has an extensive background in enterprise software and consulting services, and brings more than 22 years of experience to AutoRevo’s management team. Through his own company, he has consulted for both venture-backed start-ups and Fortune 500 Companies.
His industry experience includes Product Management, Business Process Management, Identity Management, Professional Services, and Quality Assurance. He has held senior management positions as a Director of Professional Services and as a Program Manager with BEA and HP, respectively. Prior to joining AutoRevo, Alan served as Senior Product Manager for Harte-Hanks, where he led product strategy for Harte-Hanks’ Digital Messaging Platform.
Alan graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Computer Science. Alan currently lives in Plano, TX with his wife and twin boys. He enjoys golf, spending time with his family and is active in several church organizations.
