Welcome back to another Tuesday Tip Video Clip. This week’s tip is short and easy. It’s really just for AutoRevo customers, but you can apply this tip to whichever platform you’re on.

So you pretty much live inside the AutoRevo system, right? Most of our dealers log in at least once a day, sometimes more. Instead of always going to autorevo.com, scrolling down, and clicking dealer login, you could save tons of time and effort by just bookmarking the login screen.

Seriously – let’s do the math. Let’s say that typing in the “www.autorevo.com”, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and clicking the “dealer login” link takes 12 seconds every time you do it. And let’s say you log in twice a day, 6 days a week. That’s 12 times 2 times 6, which equals 144 seconds – 2.4 minutes – every week. At 52 weeks a year, that’s a total of 124.8 minutes – over 2 hours of time that you’re spending every year just logging in to the system.

And this isn’t just our system – the same is true for any dealer website provider. Sure, it’s just a few seconds each time, but it really adds up over time – even moreso if you log in more than twice a day.

So instead, you can get there almost immediately by just bookmarking the page. Just get to the login page, then hit control-d to bring up the bookmark dialogue. You can then save it in your bookmark or favorites list, or even place the bookmark in the toolbar just below the address bar in your browser. Once it’s bookmarked, you can get to the login screen immediately but just clicking the bookmark link.

Virtual high five – you just learned something new. As always, if you have any questions or comments, leave them down below. Thanks for stopping by, and we’ll see you again next week.
