In 2001, Chad Polk owned and operated an eBay Motors vehicle listing service for auto dealers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. The need to automate the listing process was evident, and in December 2003, he partnered with Mark Hoffman and Randy Roberts and built what is now known as the AutoRevo Vehicle Management System (VMS).
Initially, AutoRevo was established to provide auto dealers a more proficient method of listing and managing their inventory on eBay Motors. The company’s product offering soon grew to include search engine optimized dealer websites, a robust inventory management system, used vehicle inventory integration with any online classified vendor, a lead management system and advanced reporting analytics. We are also one of the leaders in Automotive Search Engine Optimization, helping dozens of dealers reach and stay on the first page of Google, which helps drive more customers through car dealers’ doors and more cars off of the lot.
In 2018, we are excited to announce the full redesign of the of the AutoRevo VMS along with the addition of some exciting new products to further build our dealers’ toolbox. From our new Universal Search and updated Internal Notetaking to the brand-new QuickDesk feature and Carfax snapshot, we are committed to pushing the envelope to help our dealers sell more cars.
To this day the company continues its self-funded business model where profits afford the opportunity to hire new employees, allowing continued growth and diversification in the ever-changing automotive industry. Employees have seen everything from writing code in a garage (a finished-out garage was our first real office) to working in our amazing new office in the heart of beautiful Plano, TX.
